An Online English Teaching Experience during Covid-19 Pandemic: Preliminary Findings

This article presents the preliminary results of an Emergency Remote Teaching (ERT) experience (Hodges, Moore, Lockee, Trust & Bond, 2020) a foreign language professor during COVID-19 pandemic. Using qualitative methodology, technological and educational obstacles were found, such as participation in videoconferences, implementation real tasks, use humor motivation students. It is concluded that lecturer gained confidence expertise interactive environment. Finally, promotion interaction alternative formative evaluation class recommended.
